Today 25th of November, is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Violence against women and girls remains one of the most widespread human rights violations in the world. Although many countries have enacted laws to combat violence against women, violence against women continues to be a significant problem due to problems in the implementation of laws and discriminatory social norms.

The United Nations is calling for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls with its 16-Day #NoExcuse themed campaign, starting today and continuing until 10th of December, Human Rights Day.

As Mayapack, we also comply with this call and declare that we are against all kinds of physical, psychological and sexual violence against women.

There is no excuse for violence against women!
